My Prayer                      FOR THOU O LORD Thank you for orienting me in this  lifetime to be an artist,  By teaching me that through my art I  would live life more intensely  That I would touch life with it's  challenges and struggles by mixing the colors ,in my life,in my  pallete,  and  through it have the blessing to be near  And portray You in my art. FOR THOU O LORD   That you took me hand in hand, walking  the path of life with me, So I would help heal the world through  the light of the truth.  Using myself as thy servant, and my  brush as thy tool. FOR THOU O LORD   That in those moments that I felt  loneliness, and attacked by those that hurt me by not  knowing how to do  better, you were within me. giving me the strength  I never knew I had.  To understand my pain and realize my  light.   Making me through this people , stronger   FOR THOU O LORD  That you blessed me with a father and  mother, who were a sample to my road. Keep  my Mother.... in your Light  That you blessed me with my two  daughters :  Stephanie & Arlette,  Who showed me how to become a mother  and a better human being. That you gave me the gift of renewal  through  Moises and Sarita ,   Thank you for letting Ari enter my  life... and show me what love and happiness is about...keep him always Thank you for the unconditional love that  our earth and our animals give us. Thank  you for Twiggy my little dog , friend .....keep her always HEAR MY PRAYER, O LOR AND LET MY CRY COME UNTO THEE...   Give me inspiration that I can help  cure a world of pain, sorrow, confusion,  Hatred and violence & convert it’s  own venom into the cure.  Give me wisdom to understand the  difference between light and darkness, Evil and good.  As well as to always rejoice  in the colors of life. BUT MOST OF ALL, O LORD  BLESS THIS  WORLD WITH LOVE, JOY, HEALTH and the CONSCIOUSNESS TO ENJOY IT.   LET ART BE A  RETURN TO NATURE .......TO YOU.   ©1996Jacqueline Ripstein
